Over the past 15 years I have been fortunate to be part of the Grand Street Family - a settlement house helping families, youth and the elderly from the Lower East Side of NYC and Brooklyn for over a 100 years:

I initially joined as a volunteer mentoring kids via a program called JUMP! (Juniors Undertaking Manhattan’s Pleasures) and then joined the board in 2015.  It has been an honor and privilege to be part of such a wonderful organization that has impacted and changed the lives of so many individuals and families in their community.  


This year I signed up for the Louisville Ironman that will take place on October 15th and have dedicated each of the 140.6 miles to the Grand Street Family.

Grand Street's Big J.U.M.P. is a group mentoring program bringing highschool students from around the city together with young professionals.  Our mentors volunteer one Saturday a month to take the students on trips and cultural outings in and around New York City.  We are raising money in connection with Grand Street's 17th Annual Taste of the Lower East Side (https://tasteofles.org).  Please help us raise funds to keep J.U.M.P. going for another year!
