We at Good News Fort Wayne Church Inc. are raising funds to support the Burmese community here in Fort Wayne, especially the women in need of healing and care. We are launching group therapy sessions designed to help women overcome trauma, stress, and emotional pain. Many carry silent burdens, and this program will offer a path to emotional and spiritual restoration. Your donation will help us provide: • Professional counseling led by licensed therapists • Interpretation support so that language is never a barrier • A safe, welcoming space where women can gather, share, and heal If we raise more than our goal, the extra funds will go toward expanding future mental health programs for the Burmese community. This is our mission as a church, to bring healing, hope, and support. We invite you to be part of this important work.

During lockdown, many individuals, especially the youth, have become isolated due to the drastic decrease in interaction with other individuals. Having been deprived of the social events the youth had participated prior to the lockdown, Covid 19 has not only jeopardized many people's physical health but has detrimentally affected their mental health as well. However, not all families are able to afford proper healthcare for therapy for their children or teenagers. Mental health issues are often pushed to bottom priority because of the financial strain families bear.

Good News Fort Wayne  Church (“Organization”), located at 3316 S Calhoun St, Fort Wayne, IN 46807 in Allen County, plans to combat these mental health issue by building a community center where the Organization can hold sports activities, group activities, or individual outreach to the youth through the Organization’s mind education curriculum and to provide programs to enrich the youth, the community and people with services that strengthen spiritual, intellectual and emotional growth through mentorship and guidance, cultural exchange, performing arts and volunteerism…

Therefore, we formed a youth organization under the name of MYA, Myanmar Youth Association. We strive to help the youths from Myanmar live a happy life by overcoming problems in life and to heal the ill society with the goal of nurturing talent based on the right character and mind. MYA aims to guide its participants as they transition from academic settings to the real world, where their choices have greater potential to ignite change and positively affect those around them..
