Concerned citizens with collaboration with Gonder Hibret for Ethiopian Unity are launching a fundraising campaign to raise funds for the residents of Telemt, Janamora and Belessa regions in Northern Gonder . This is a region where the residents fell victim to extended drought and prolonged war. These are regions never before were subjected to drought. Besides losing their farm, cattle and homes, their harvest has been destroyed due to the on-going war. Your support will help provide daily subsistence food, wate, medicine and shelter.

ጎንደር ክፍለ አገር በደረሰው ሰው ሰራሽና የተፈጥሮ አደጋዎች ምክንያት በረሃብና በጦርነት የተጎዱ ወገኖቻችን በተለይም በጠለምት፣ በጃናሞራና በበለሳ የደረሰው የረሃብ መጠን ከፍተኛ መሆኑን በመረዳታችን ይህን ችግር ለመፍታት የተሰባሰብን የአካባቢው ተወላጆች “ባለቤት ካልጮኸ ጎረቤት አይደርስም” እንደሚባለው ስለሁኔታውም ለማሳወቅና ተቆርቋሪ ዜጎች ሁሉ የተቻላቸውን እርዳታ እንዲለግሱ ለማድረግ ይህን ጥሪ አድርገናል።በተጨማሪም ጦርነቱ በሚካሄደባቸው አካባቢዎች በጦርነቱ ምክንያት በደረሰው የሰብል መውደም፣ የመፈናቀል፣ የህክምና እጦት ስላለ የተቻለንን ያህል እርዳታ ለማድረግ የዙም ስብሰባ አድርገን በሁኔታው ላይ ተወያይተን የአቅማችን እርዳታ እንድናደርግ ጥሪያችንን እናቀርባለን።

Gonder Hibret for Ethiopian Unity is raising funds to support the wounded from the recent aggression from the East, North East west of Ethiopia. The wounded defenders (armed forces, special forces and others) need hospital closing (T-shirts, shorts, bed sheets, flip flops, blankets, food and water/juice.

Whereas they are on the front line to defend our citizenry and sacrifice their lives, we must do our part to stand by them in their time of need. በቅርቡ ጠላት በሰሜን በሰሜን ምስራቅና በምእራብ በከፈተው አደጋ መከላከያና የወገን ኃይሎች ይህን ጠላት በመክላክል ላይ እያሉ በርካታ ወገኖች ቆስለው በተለያዩ የክሊኒክና ሆስፒታሎች ህክምና እያገኙ ሲሆን የሆስፒታል አልባሳት ( ከናተራ ሱሪ፣ ነጠላ ጫማ፡ አንሶላ ብርድ ልብስ) ወሃና የፍራፍሬ ጭማቂ ለማገገም የተለያዩ የምግብ አይነቶች ያስፈልጋሉ፡፡ እነሱ ወገናን ዳር ድንበርን ሲክላከሉ ሂይወታቸውን መስዋዐት እስከ ማድረግ ተሰማርተስ የመቁሰል አደጋ ሲድርስባቸው እኛ ክጎናቸው በመቆም ጎንደር ህብረት የጀመረውን የርዳታ ስርጭት አጠናክሮ ይህን አስቸኳይ እርዳታ እንዲያደርስ ትብብራችሁን በአክብሮት እንጠይቃለን፡፡

Yet again, the residents of Welkait and the surrounding areas are faced with an imminent threat from the North. This is not plain rumor, but rather multiple credible sources substantiate the threat.

 

Over the years, Gonder Hibret has responded to natural and man-made emergencies and rendered help to the affected citizens. Gonder Hibret is taking this proactive action anticipating the killings, property damage and uprooting of residents from their homes as repeatedly witnessed in the past.

The timing could not be worse since this is the growing season for these agrarian communities.

በወልቃይትና አካባቢው የሚኖሩ ዚጎች  አሁንም ለአደጋ እንደሚጋለጡ የተለያዩ አስተማማኝ የመረጃ ምንጮች እያመለክቱ ነው። የዚህ አካባቢ ነዋሪዎች እጣ ፈንታቸው ግድያ የንብረት ውድመትና የመፈናቀል መሆኑን በታሪክ ተገንዘበናል። ይህ አይቀሬ ሁኒታ ክመፈጠሩ በፊት በቅድሚያ ዝግጅት ማድረግ አስፈላጊ በመሆኑ ጎንደር ሕብርት ለኢትዮጵያ አንድነት እርዳታ ለማሰባሰብ ተነሳስቷል። እንደተለመደው ሰው ሰራሽና የተፈጥሮ አደጋ ሲክሰት ጎንደር ሕብረት የወግንን እርዳታ በማሰባሰብ ለተጎዱት ወገኖች እርዳታ ሲያደርስ ቆይቷል። እርዳታው የመጠለያ፤የምግብ የወሃና የመድኃኒት አቅርቦትን የሚሸፍን ይሆናል። ለምታድርጉት ትብብር በቅድሚያ ምስጋናችን እንገልጻለን።

A call For Action

Due to the relentless assault on our citizens by well-coordinated foreign and domestic

forces to dismantle Ethiopia, millions of Afar, Wello and Gonder region residents have lost their homes and entire livelihood. They have been displaced and are in horrendous and desperate conditions. The citizens have never seen such horrific and challenging times in the country’s long history. We need to act now before it gets much worse. Over the past several years Gonder Hibret traveled to various areas in the north-west to distribute food, water and other materials of subsistence to displaced citizens. With the rising magnitude of displacement, Gonder Hibret is now embarking on distributing aid to displaced citizens on all fronts. It is requesting your support to extend your hands so that it can execute this major humanitarian campaign

ያለማቋረጥ በቀጠለው በውጭና በውስጥ ኃይሎች በተቀናጀው በአገር ማፍረስ ዘመቻ በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ወገኖቻችን በአፋር በወሎና በጎንደር ንብረታቸው ወድሞ ከቀያቸውን ተፈናቅለው ይገኛሉ፡፡ በአሁኑ ወቅት ዜጎቻችን በአሰቃቂና ፈታኝ ሁኔታ ላይ ይገኛሉ፡፡ ወገናቸን ከዚህ የበለጠ ፈታኝ ጊዜ አጋጥሞት አያውቅምና ወደባሰ ጨለማ እንዳይወድቅ መረባረብ ግዴታችን ነው።ጎንደር ሕብረት ለብዙ ዓመታት እየተዘዋወረ ተፈናቃዮችን በመርዳት ይሰራ የነበረ ሲሆን አሁን ደግሞ ካለፈው በበለጠ ለወቅቱ የሚመጥን የምግብ የወሃና የመሳሰሉትን እርዳታ መፈናቀል ባሉባቸው አካባቢዎች ሁሉ ያበረክት ዘንድ ሁሉም ኢትዮጵያውያን እርዳታ በመለገስ እንደትተባበሩት በአክብሮት ይጠይቃል
