As victims recover from Hurricane Helene, Florida and its Environs are preparing for the worst from yet another catastrophic hurricane (Milton) expected to make landfall on Wednesday, October 9th 2024.

Hurricane Milton has been classified as extremely dangerous and will alter lives and communities forever.

Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes, not knowing what awaits them when they return. Families are living in uncertainty, unsure if they’ll come back to anything at all. Their homes, schools, and communities may be reduced to rubble, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they fled in.

Devastating floods and landslides caused by heavy storms in the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna have claimed nine lives and left thousands homeless.

In a heartbreaking video shared on social media, the voices of people trapped in their homes in Faenza, a city in Ravenna province, could be heard shouting for help as others also sought refuge on their roofs.

3,000 people were evacuated from Bologna, 5,000 from Faenza, and another 5,000 from Ravenna.

Homes have been completely swept away.

The crisis in the region is far from over, as Italy’s civil protection agency says there could be worse to come. "The rainfall is not over; it will continue for several hours.

Lives have been lost, homes have been washed away, people have lost most or all of their possessions and cherished memories, businesses have been affected, and the road to recovery will be a very long one.

Global Aider Incorporated is raising funds to support the victims of these catastrophic floods. With the help of our implementing partners, volunteers, and trained relief professionals, we will work tirelessly to provide aid both directly and indirectly to families, individuals, and businesses affected by this disaster.

Funds will be channeled into supporting victims with makeshift accommodations, food, water, medical kits, hygiene products, long-term community rebuilding, and small business aid, if applicable.

100% of the funds raised will go toward service delivery for the affected individuals and communities.

This fundraiser campaign was originally created when a deadly tornado tore through Rolling Fork, Mississippi, killing 26 people. However, just a week later, 25 people have been confirmed dead in yet another system of violent tornadoes that leveled entire communities in the South and Midwest on Friday, March 31, 2023, and Saturday, causing state leaders to declare emergencies in the affected areas to respond to the damage.

More than 60 preliminary tornado reports were recorded Friday in at least seven states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

 

With the help of our implementing partners and our large network of charitable organizations, we will work tirelessly on and off the grounds to provide the needed assistance to affected families, individuals, and businesses in the destroyed locations.

Our expert teams and highly trained volunteers will be deployed to the various states to assist in humanitarian duties of all kinds.

Funds will be channeled into supporting residents with makeshift accommodations, food, water, hygiene products, long-term community rebuilding, and small business aid if applicable.

In a very sad turn of events, powerful storms in middle Tennessee have killed at least six people and unleashed a trail of terror in the state.

On Saturday, December 9, 2023, multiple tornadoes tore through homes, flipped trucks, and toppled power lines, leaving families homeless and some 44,000 people without power.

Several homes and businesses have been flattened, with Clarksville, Madison, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Springfield being the hardest hit.

As families salvage what is left of their lives to start over, we are raising funds to support families across Tennessee who have been affected by this devastating tornado, including a volunteer of our organization who happened to lose a section of her home.

We will directly provide support to families by providing temporary accommodation and basic needs, as well as long-term recovery assistance.

The affected people of Tennessee need us, and this is the time for us to come together to help them in these trying moments.

Our hearts go out to the families mourning their loved ones due to this disaster.
