10th anniversary Sam Cuthbert
in a couple of weeks the 10th anniversary of his death.
I'm asking all my friends and family to please (if you can) donate to the "Gift of Life howies house" in memory of Sam.
Any donations made will go directly to them.
It became our home away from home for the many, many admissions to HOP over a 7 year span. The support, kindness and care we received from them helped us get through some of the hardest times in our life.
I cannot come up with enough words to express how grateful we are to each and every person we met during our extended stays there.

David Nelson Jr. passed away on July 10th, 2006 and was an organ donor. In 2007, family and friends created the David Nelson Jr. Memorial Fund which provides educational scholarships to children of deceased organ donor parents. To date, the fund has awarded more than $45,000 in educational scholarships supported by the Gift of Life Donor Program. In addition, the Fund promotes the importance of organ donation awareness and raises needed funds to support families that come to the region for transplant services.
