Help us improve sports for BHPS students
Dear friends, families and neighbours of Bushey Heath Primary School.
We need your help..........
We are on a mission to raise £4,100 to support our lovely school to make their sports offer just as amazing as the education and facilities our children get inside the classroom.
You may have noticed that some of our sports equipment and outdoor areas are looking tired and run down.
The wonderful sports teachers (shout out to Mr Freeman) do a brilliant job inspiring a love of sports among our children. So let’s pull together to make sure they have the best resources to support their brilliant and important work.
Why we want to invest in sports at Bushey Heath Primary School:
- First and foremost – many of our children, parents and staff have asked us for better equipment and to try different types of sports! But we don’t have the funds to be able to deliver this.
- We have a motto at the school, ‘Healthy Body Healthy Mind' – we recognise the power that physical activity has to help maintain a healthy mind, and we want to bring this into the everyday for our children through PE and at break times.
- During two years of a pandemic, our children missed out on being together and with other children. The school has worked so hard to ensure no child has been left behind educationally. We want to support the school to help students with their social skills that may have been impacted - sports and play are brilliant ways to nurture this.
How will the money be spent?
Below is the wish list from our students, teachers and parents that we are trying to raise money to cover the cost.
