2023 Ride for the Philippines
Note from Rogelio Rigor:
"As you read this, record heat is making life for the vulnerable and poor in the Philippines unbearably difficult and even life-threatening. And, this condition, brought about by man-made climate change, will be even worse in the coming years, if not decades. In our own humble way, we would like to get most of you bicycle enthusiasts to Ride for the Philippines, a simple metaphor for all of us here in the U.S. (or
anyone outside the Philippines) to rally support through our donations for our people back home; as they face a future with fear -- we are here to provide them hope; a fighting chance to survive…"
Ride for the Philippines | 2023 Seattle to Portland Bike Ride
On July 15, 2023, Board Vice President Rogelio Rigor and Volunteer Marketing Director Ronald Antonio will bike from Seattle to Portland to promote our Foundation’s Health Pillar and help raise awareness and material support for communities in the Philippines who are most impacted by natural disasters. In short, they will “Ride for the Philippines!”
Our goal: Raise $10,000 by July 15th, 2023
Kuya Roger and Ron will bike one mile for every dollar raised throughout their training. Donate today to help us reach our goal! You may also support us by riding with us on July 15th, cheering us on at the rest stops, or helping us spread the word.
