200+ miles of biking in two days!! 2024 was the first time riding the Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride for many thanks to an invite from community organizers with the Foundation for Philippine Progress; in partnership with Cascade Cycling, the Foundation for Philippine Progress has organized an STP affinity group under the banner of Ride for the Philippines which has helped to raise thousands of dollars over many years, benefiting humanitarian efforts in the Philippines that have ranged from Typhoon relief to livlihood programs for impacted fishing communities.
