Hello everybody! Back in May I was 1 of 23 girls to be selected to participate in the state of Illinois Distinguished Young Women competition. This program gives out millions of dollars in scholarships to girls around the world, and the farther you make it in the program the more money you are likely to receive. In May, I showcased my fitness, academics, talent, and interview skills to a panel of judges online. In August I will be traveling to Tinley Park, near Chicago, to compete in all of these categories in front of in-person judges, and possibly be selected as the Distinguished Young Woman of Illinois for the class of 2026. As a part of the program they ask each girl to hold a fundraiser to contribute towards each girls food, board, and transportation over the 4 day competition. My goal is to raise $250, and it would be extremely helpful if anyone would be willing to help!
