Debre Selam Medhane Alem Church - Fence Project
From Debre Selam Medhane Alem Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church, located in the greater Washington, D.C. Metro area.
Our church has become a focal point of our lives and an integral part of our community. A place to connect with the mighty God, and a place to worship him freely and peacefully. It is also a place of gathering to attend bible studies and share social and spiritual events.
Our church is beautifully constructed and blessed with unique architectural attributes as well as modern-day amenities. However, the parameter fencing around the building is old, worn out, and needs immediate attention. As a result, our church is currently raising funds to replace this old fencing with new fencing that meets necessary security requirements, and at the same time compliment the beautiful building structure.

ንኹልኹም ኣብ መላእ ዓለም እትርከቡ ኤርትራዉያን ብፍላይ ድማ ኣብ ከባቢ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ፡ መሪላንድን ቨርጂንያን እትነብሩ ኣመንቲ ክርስትናን ተኸተልቲ ካልእ እምነታትን ዝኾንኩም ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን ካብ ደብረሰላም ቤተክርስትያን መድህኔ ዓለም ኣርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ኤርትራ ኣብ ዋሽንግተን ዲ.ሲ.ን ከባቢኣ ዝኽበረ ሰላምታ ይብጻሕኩም።
ብምቕጻል ኩሉኹም ከም እትፈልጥዎ ደብረሰላም ቤተክርስትያን መድህኔ ዓለም ኣርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ኤርትራ ኣብ ዋሽንግተን ዲ.ሲ.ን ከባቢኣን ዓበይን ዘመናውን ህንጻ ሃኒጹ ኣገልግሎት ኣብ ምሃብ ይርከብ። እዚ ዝተሃንጸ ህንጻ ድማ ኩሉ ኤርትራዊ ብዘይ ኣፈላላይ ብሰላምን ፍቕርን ጸሎትን መንፈሳዊ ትምህርትን ዘካይደሉ፡ ዝተፈላለዩ ማሕበራዊ ንጥፈታትን ብናጽነት፡ ብሰላምን ፍቕርን ዘሰላሰለሉ ቦታን ማእከልን ኮይኑ ዘገልግል ዘሎ ህንጻ’ዩ ።
እዚ ዝተሰርሐ ህንጻ ቤተክርስትያን ኣዝዩ ዘመናዉን ምዕቡሉን እካ ኣንተኾነ እቲ ቀጽሪ ቤተክርስትያን ግና ምስቲ ሓድሽ ህንጻ ዘይከይድ፡ ዝኣረገን ውሕስነት ዘየብሉን ስለዝኾነ፡ ነዚ ሓጹር’ዚ ብዘመናውን ውሕሱን ኣገባብ ንምቕያሩ ቤተክርስትያና መደብ ሒዛ ዝተፈላለዩ ናይ ገንዘብ ድለባ ስራሕት ጀሚርና ኣብ መትግባሩ ንርከብ። ሓደ ካብዚ መደብ ‘ዚ ድማ ናይ ጎፋንድ ሕሳብ ብምኽፋት ካብ ዝተፈላለዩ ሰባትን ትካላትን ሓገዝ ምሕታት እዩ ። ስለዝኾነ ኣብ መላእ ዓለም እትርከቡ ኤርትራውያን ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን ነዚ መደብ’ዚ ኢልና ከፊትናዮ ኣብ ዘለና ናይ ጎፋንድ ሕሳብ ዓቕምኹም ዘፍቅዶ ወፈያ ክትገብሩ ደብረሰላም ቤተክርስትያን መድህኔ ዓለም ኣርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ኤርትራ ኣብ ዋሽንግተን ዲ.ሲ.ን ከባቢኣን ብትሕትና ትሓትት። ንእትገብርዎ ኣበርክቶ መድህኔዓለም ዕጽፍን ድርብን ጌሩ ይሃብኩም።
