More information about Darlington Mind Limited: Darlington Mind Ltd. is a registered charity, dedicated to promoting and preserving good mental health and to assisting people who are experiencing mental distress to regain their full potential in life and work. It does this by providing Supported Housing, Adult Day Services, Older Persons Day Services and a Young Persons Self-Harm Prevention Project. It helps people in the Darlington and surrounding areas, who are experiencing a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety and dementia.

We are raising money for Darlington Mind to help raise awareness for Mental Health - this is a big thing in today’s world, we all know someone who has/is struggling with mental health or has experienced it themselves, we are hosting a charity boxing event to raise money for this brilliant cause. Any donation would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

This year Zoe, James and I are taking part in Redcars 56th annual Boxing day dip to raise funds for Darlington Mind.

Me and my good mates are doing the Lake District 3 Peaks on Friday 25th July to raise Money for MIND charity in loving memory of my brother Chris Szoboszlai who tragically passed away in 2020 at the age of 28 . We want to use this walk as an opportunity to highlight the growing number of under 30 males in this country who are suffering from addiction and how more needs to be done to offer support to the people who need it most. If this walk can save one life from it's donations it's worth it's weight in gold.

In June of last year, we sadly lost our good friend Natalie to mental health. That is why we have decided to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Mind in Darlington. We are flying to Morocco at the start of April to climb Mt. Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa.

Everybody knows someone who has been affected by mental health. By raising money for Mind we hope it will help them make a difference to as many lives as possible moving forward.

Any donations are much appreciated, all of which are going directly to the charity as the trip is self funded.

Hi I'm Amy and I am Running for Hope: Help Me Support Darlington Mind

​I’m raising money for Darlington Mind Limited, a charity that provides vital support in our community. This cause is incredibly close to my heart because Darlington currently has the highest suicide rate in the country. This is a statistic we have to change.

​I have fought my own mental health battles for as long as I can remember. I know firsthand how quickly your own mind can become a dark place, and I am currently navigating the journey of ADHD and autism assessments. I’m running to show that even when the world feels dull, there is a way to find the light.

​On Sunday, August 2nd at 9:30 AM, I’ll be running a 5k to raise funds and awareness. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a massive difference.
