Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County

I’m running the 126th Boston Marathon as part of Team Suffolk CAC , a group of dedicated runners supporting the Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County. The money raised through the team's efforts will help sustain the CAC's critical services for children under 18 who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, or commercial sexual exploitation. They provide a prompt, sensitive, interagency response to child abuse so that every child and family can focus on healing. By streamlining communication and coordination among multiple agencies responding to the incident, the CAC minimizes the number of times a child must talk about their abuse and reduces the risk of being re-traumatized. With your help, the CAC can provide comprehensive assessment, support, advocacy and evidence-based interventions to promote healing, justice and wellbeing for children exposed to violence and their families. By donating today, you are part of a community ensuring that all children are provided safety and given the opportunity to thrive. 

 

My goal is to raise $8,000 for the CAC, which will go directly to their critical services including forensic interviewing, family advocacy, and trauma-informed medical care. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
