American European Bethel Misssion Inc.

January 12 - 21st will be our 17th Annual American European Bethel Mission food project. For the last 17 years AEBM has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to serve those who are in need in the Middle East and abroad. AEBM has served in Israel, Jordan, Ukraine, and Germany to help those in need for food, and also their need for a Saviour.

This year I (Conor), Ernesto Sanchez, and Jim Stretchberry (Director of AEBM) are reaching out to raise funds necessary to complete the vision we have seen for 2018.

In past years we have served:
* Homeless
*Prostitutes
*Refugees
*Drug Addicts
*Wounded Children
*Holocaust Survivors
*Orphans
*Widows
*Youth
*Other discipleship ministries.

To accomplish these goals we are looking to raise $100,000.

Here is the breakdown:
$30,000 - For food, toys, blankets, and housing aid for the needy

$70,000 - for needs of both Jews and Arabs within Israel who have petitioned our cause.

We would love to see our goal met, but also ask that you would pray for us and for those we are looking to serve: That meet not only bring practical help but also spiritual encouragement to a place in the world that is often in distress.

Bethel Hostel is a Christian hostel located in Israel, in the middle of the bustling city of Haifa in the German Colony. It is nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Carmel Mountains.

The hostel offers affordable accomodations and facilities for Christian groups and individuals who love Israel, need a retreat, or just a simple place to stay with good value for their money.

Recently, we have received the unfortunate news that a crucial retaining wall needs immediate renovation.

Bethel Hostel is very important to us; it provides a safe and affordable place for Christians to visit Israel, helps strengthen the local economy, and the money it raises helps fund our local discipleship ministry.

Bethel Hostel also serves as a place of local worship, discipleship training, and recovery ministry; the building in danger is the very building that has been used to help save the lives of over one-hundred-fifty men who were once drug-addicts and alcoholics, but are now off the street and serving Christ.

It is our mission to save this building, so we can continue to reach out to the destitute and share with them the love of Christ.

Hi Friends and Family,
  Please join me in giving to the annual charity event in Israel, and for this year, in Jordan as well.  Last year I had the amazing opportunity to witness firsthand how effective these ministries are and I was able to see the encouragement of so many people whose lives are being touched.  The ministries that we will be working with in 2016 include the Bethel hostel in Haifa, drug addiction recovery ministries for men and a newly started one for women, hospitals, blankets for newborn babies, 9000 toys for children in hospitals, including children who are victims of the war in Syria.  Additionally, for 2016, we will be bringing support to refugees in Jordan who have been displaced by the war and find themselves at God's mercy, unable to work to support their families because they are not citizens.  Please prayfully consider joining me, I will be kicking off the campaign with a personal donation to show how much I believe in this work.
