A Moment of Magic ECU is raising funds for 25 Days of Magic this year!

A Moment of Magic harnesses the power of play to spark joy, foster connection, reduce isolation and support the mental health and emotional healing for medically vulnerable children and their families.

25 Days of Magic allows us to visit a family in the local area and bring holiday gifts! Our goal is to clear the wishlist of one family this year!

Our chapters, located at 25+ colleges and universities, bring our mission to life across the country. They are compassionate communities of student volunteers who believe in the healing power of joy, imagination, and connection. Through visits, workshops, and special events, they help ensure that every child we serve feels seen, celebrated, and supported.

A Moment of Magic at West Chester University is a chapter of passionate and dedicated students eager to bring the mission of AMoM to the West Chester Community and beyond. For five years, AMoM WCU has served countless families in PA, NJ, NY, DE, MA, and even Georgia! We have also earned the Program of the Year Award from West Chester University in 2021, 2022, and 2025.

This holiday season, you have the chance to make a real difference. A Moment of Magic’s 25 Days of Magic fundraiser helps provide meaningful holiday gifts for families in need—families facing serious childhood illness, financial hardship, or the unimaginable stress of long hospital stays.

As busy college students, we carve time out of our schedules to bring a little magic to vulnerable and underserved youth in Chicago. Through books, games, conversations, mental health workshops, and character visits, we provide positive adult role models and meaningful connections, all aimed at building resilience. Help us raise the funds we need to continue this important work. A donation as small as $10 can kickstart a goodie bag for a child in need. With $50, you can help offset the cost of transportation for one visit. A gift of $150 can cover a month of clean, safe storage for our costumes, activity supplies, and volunteer equipment. And $500 can fund a full mental health workshop and provide resource backpacks for 10 children. Help us reach our goal and serve the greater Chicago area—one magical moment at a time.

Last year, we had the incredible honor of supporting a family through our 25-Days-of-Magic program. It was one of the most magical, impactful, and heartwarming experiences our chapter has had.

From the smiles to the shared moments of joy, we were reminded that magic truly exists in the little moments when communitites come together to give. We were privileged and blessed to connect a family who welcomed us into their hearts and home, and hope to have that same honor again this year.

We are raising funds to help make the holidays brigther for the families we serve. Every dollar will go directly toward fulfilling a childs whislist, provding meaningful gifts, and spreading kindness during a season that can diffcult.

Misericordia's A Moment of Magic has been working this semster on connecting with the Dallas and surrounding area's of Pennsylvania. We are currently a Magic Maker chapter with hopes of becoming a Character Chapter by Fall 2025. With your help and donations we are able to achieve our goal and connect with more children in the area!

In January, we were fortunate enough to go on a 25-Days-of-Magic visit, where we connected with an incredible family. We would love to do more magical visits and events but we need your help to make it happen.

Celebrate 10 Years of Magic with Us! ✨

Ten years ago, A Moment of Magic began in a dorm room with a dress, a dream, and a GoFundMe. Our vision was simple: to empower college students to make hospitals a little less scary and a lot more magical for children facing serious illnesses.

Through arts, play, and the magic of beloved characters, we’ve created moments of joy, laughter, and imagination that transform hospital stays into unforgettable experiences. These moments have a profound impact on the mental health and quality of life of the children we serve. At the same time, we’re building tomorrow’s leaders by offering college students meaningful leadership opportunities—proving that everyone has the power to make a difference.

Today, as we celebrate a decade of magic, we’re returning to our roots by crowdfunding once again to fuel our mission. Our 10th-anniversary GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $10,000 to reach 100 hospitalized children across the country.
