Support Safe Housing for Oakland Families in Need
Dear Supporters,
We are 24 Hour Oakland Parent Teacher Children Center, a cherished organization in Oakland dedicated to supporting families in need. Since 1998, we have owned a house located in the Eastmont/Castlemont neighborhood of East Oakland, that serves as vital low-income housing for families struggling to find stable shelter in our community.
This house has been a beacon of hope for numerous families over the years, offering a safe and secure place to live when they needed it the most. However, like any home, it requires upkeep and maintenance to continue providing a safe environment for our residents.
Currently, we are facing a critical issue with the plumbing pipes in the house. The pipes are old and in need of urgent repair to ensure that our families have access to clean water and functional facilities. The cost of replacing these old copper pipes with new PVC pipes is significant, and we are seeking your support to raise $10,000 to cover the expenses of this essential maintenance.
Your donation will directly contribute to preserving this valuable resource for our community. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping to maintain a home where families can thrive, children can grow, and hope can flourish.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of families in Oakland who are facing housing insecurity.
Thank you for considering our cause and for your support in keeping families housed and cared for in our beloved Oakland community.
With gratitude,
24 Hour Oakland Parent Teacher Children Center, Inc.
