About PROJECT 'CHANGE ONE LIFE'
Project 'CHANGE ONE LIFE' aims to change transitional housing into permanent housing to provide our rescues with a safe environment in which to stay for as long as they need to stay and to live with the dignity they deserve; ultimately a place they can call HOME.
Problem or challenge - We ‘ll be shortly facing the challenge of no longer having a suitable place in where to foster our rescues. The borrowed property, in which our rescues are being fostered at the moment, has to be vacant and returned to its owner. We are now urged to find a new place to provide long-term/permanent housing for our rescues by the end of ***April 2015***
***A 90 day extension period was agreed. New deadline is August 3, 2015.*** For further info please CLICK HERE
Not only this situation affects our current foster cats, but it also drastically limits any future possibility of continuing and expanding our rescue work. At the moment, non of us has a steady income nor enough financial means to pay for a place big enough to accommodate all our rescues under one roof. Everything we've managed to do so far, has been based upon personal sacrifices and private donations obtained through online crowdfunding.
We can no longer afford these expenses so we are now reaching out for greater help in oder to provide long-term/permanent housing for the rescues that are already being fostered and eventually for those in need that tomorrow will bring.
Our Goal - Getting the necessary funds to rent a property intended to run a private shelter where semi-feral, stray and abandoned cats can find a forever home.
Your donations will help cover housing costs and utilities of the cat shelter for the first 12 months.

The enhancing of our website and social network platforms got the cat shelter project supporters from all over the world.
These are the GOALS we have achieved TOGETHER with YOU:
• A safe forever home for our rescues. A rented place that has been turned into a cat shelter to accommodate all the fur babies under one roof.
• Enough funds raised for the refurbishment of the place and to buy new supplies such as cat condos, beds, blankets, etc.
• Enough funds raised to cover general expenses of the new cat shelter, cat rescue operation and feral cat colonies maintenance in 2015.
• Enough funds raised to pay off overdue vet bills in 2015.
It’s been a very tough year that brought us great results and immense joy but also a lot of pain. The loss of our 13-year-old senior rescue Tommy in June 2015 was devastating and the burial of six terminally ill ferals hit us hard however eight new successful rescues gave us the strength to carry on.
Last but certainly not least, we wish to express our deepest gratitude to YOU all for seeing us through time and again. Without your continued support and kind donations, all our efforts and personal sacrifices would have been in vain. YOU made a difference.
On behalf of the fur babies in our shelter and ourselves, a BIG THANK YOU to you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2016!
Paulie & Jackie

Bella was pregnant and had a miscarriage 10 days upon her rescue, TJ was a malnourished 8 weeks old orphan kitten that needed special care and Oliver was an unaltered young male that needed to be tested and neutered before he could be introduced to the other shelter residents. All 3 of them abandoned. They required vet checkups, FeLV/FIV tests, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, special diet plans, flea-control and deworming. To make matters worse, Bella’s tested FeLV+ and her vulnerable health resulted in lots of extra, totally unexpected, vet expenses when post-op complications arose and she had to be hospitalized twice. She stopped eating and had lost the will to live. We were about to lose her but we did not give up on her. We started feeding her baby food with a syringe 6 times a day to help her body absorb some nutrients so all the medications she had to take could actually work and help her heal. The whole situation was very stressful, and required our undivided attention. It took up most of our time and energy. But all sacrifices paid off and Bella seems to be finally out of the woods now.
Last but not least, we want you all to know that we keep searching for the new home, a place that meets our needs and fits our budget but no luck so far: it is getting especially complicated during this last month of summer when everyone seems to be on vacations … except us!
Although we have not been able to find our new place yet, our project keeps moving forward. Our rescues are safe and well while more lives have been saved. Hopefully, with a little luck, once summer is over, we’ll be able to find what we’re after.
Hope you’re all having a wonderful summer!

48 hour after her spay surgery, Bella's recovering well. She's eating and resting, and although she's tried a few times... she has not managed to remove the e-collar. So far so good. Hopefully in a couple of weeks she'll be ready to leave the IC Room to finally join the other FeLV+ rescues Minnie & Jasmine in Cat Room 2. Speedy recovery lovely Bella!
If you want to collaborate and help us pay off Bella’s vet bill, please consider making a small donation and leave a message " For Bella" . Thank you!

Oliver is an unaltered young male, he's rather skinny for his size and quite dehydrated. It looks like he has not groomed himself in weeks nevertheless he looks gorgeous and he’s got a pair of tantalizing blue eyes that could melt your heart in a sec.
