Cat Sanctuary Change One Life
Change One Life Cat rescue & Sanctuary. The beginning of a new era.
At the begining of 2015, we had 8 rescues and a borrowed vacant apartment with no utilities, full of cardboard boxes and old blankets. Since then, the number of rescues has doubled and we currently rent two interconnected apartments with running water & electricity, properly furnished to provide permanent housing to 17 cats and 1 dog.
Although the shelter budget increased considerably due to a larger number of new rescues and residents, we managed to cover all basic expenses such as rent, utilities and food. We could also spayed/neutered all new entries, pay off vet bills, buy new supplies for all the catrooms and we also have our first webcam for LIVE streamning.
In just a year, we’ve distributed a ton of food and gallons of water, among feral cat colonies. The hard work outside the shelter has always played a key-role in the success of our cat rescue operation.
In 2016, our former cat shelter blossomed in full bloom becoming a Sanctuary and now we have a new challenge: Raise enough funds to pay the rent for the next 12 months, not to lose all of what we have worked so hard to achieve.
None of all the things we’ve achieved so far would have been possible without your invaluable support.
We're counting on YOU once again to help us keep on saving lives and changing lives. Make a kind donation today and help us keep our Sanctuary open for another year.

Without your financial help, our Sanctuary wouldn’t have survived another year. Your kindness and generosity have been a blessing in the lives of all our rescues and hopefully it will continue to be so in their future as well.
Although we launched our ‘cat shelter’ project and first fundraiser campaign on December 21, 2014, we had already been rescuing homeless cats for two years by then. It’s been a difficult journey and we have lost pieces of our hearts along the way, nevertheless it’s been worth every minute. Thank you for being part of it.
As you celebrate this special season, may your heart be filled with love, joy and peace. May these holiday blessings linger in your home and stay with you throughout 2017.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
Blessings to all.
Jackie & Paul

We urgently need help to raise funds to pay for our Sanctuary rent for the upcoming trimester. Regretfully, since last summer we’ve had many unexpected vet emergencies and other Sanctuary maintenance extraordinary expenses that made us run out of funds.
By November 30th 2016, we must raise 1815 USD (1650 +10% fees = that will add up to 6.2K of fundraiser total amount) in order to pay rent for the next trimester which means we have a bit over a month to make it happen.
All donations, regardless of the amount, will help. After a lot of sacrifices and struggle, our Sanctuary has become their home; don’t let them lose it all.
With a little help from YOU, our rescues will never have to go homeless again.
Help us keep our Sanctuary open. We need your help NOW! Please donate.

The sudden illness and tragic passing of Minnie at the beginning of August plus the recent emergency eye surgery of our FeLV+ rescue Jasmine, made it clear how financially vulnerable we are. A series of truly unfortunate events, have made us realize we are living on the edge, struggling to cope with totally unexpected expenses.
Today, we are reaching out to YOU to pull us back from the brink. A simple $10 dollar donation from each one of YOU (reading this update) could help us raise up to 2K within hours.
