Help! The Canadian Orpheus Male Choir has Fallen Victim to Financial Fraud

For over forty years, the "men who love to sing" of Hamilton's Canadian Orpheus Male Choir have helped raise over $800,000 for service groups, churches, and organizations like the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Hamilton Spectator's Summer Camp Fund. Learn more at http://www.comc.ca .

In early October 2018, we discovered that at least $40,000 had vanished from the bank, even though the accounting reports showed healthy balances. The situation has been reported to the Hamilton Police. The board is working tirelessly to put this right and prevent it from ever happening again.

With special support from singers, our music director, our accompanist, annual dues, concert revenue, gifts from other choirs, and fundraising events, the choir can stay afloat for a few months. But to recover from this devastating loss, to ensure the long term survival of this Hamilton institution, and to help the charities we support,  we need your help.

Please make a generous donation to the Canadian Orpheus Male Choir Fund Relief drive to help us support our worthy partners, and to continue to provide high quality live choral entertainment in and about Hamilton for years to come.

For donations which require a tax receipt, please contact John Nelson at membership@comc.ca for information on how to contribute directly.

Thank You!
