Carpool2Vote #MidtermsOnMyTerms

My name is Nicole Wild Merl, advocate for women and girls and co-founder of Women Voters USA (www.WomenVotersUSA.org  ). I am a native Australian, however due to family reasons I have resided all over the world. Based on my own experiences growing up in rural Australia, I have found my passion and purpose to always support women’s economic independence and find innovative solutions and resources to support women and girls. (Read more about me on my LinkedIn Profile )

Upon relocation to the USA in 1996, I have worked at a grassroots level with women across our nation on a wide range of issues on behalf the Women's Alliance and community-based organizations such as The Career Wardrobe, helping women with professional attire and career stills training to help them find gainful employment.

Wherever I am in the world, I have always tried to support the advancement of women and girls and stay dedicated to my own personal and professional development through life-long learning.

#WomenVotes, along with #Carpool2Vote, were developed as a part of my master's program to make a measurable difference in the 2016 general election. Via a sponsorship of the first-ever virtual Education Cooperative allowed by the Northeastern University College of Professional Studies , I was able to develop a civic platform to empower women voters. Throughout all of this, I was proudly sponsored by my mentor and advocate, Thomas Cook, to support my professional and educational goals.

The purpose of our supportive, informational platform is to:

1) Empower women to vote and run for elected office.
2) Help ANYONE with a free ride to the polls to vote via Carpool2Vote along with our civic tech platforms including, SMS messaging where GA voters can text for a free ride to the polls (for midterms on November 6), and web-based database for driver/rider/carpool sign-ups.
3) Educate young women voters through support of initiatives that help inspire culture change through the first-hand experience of voting and sharing the issues important to them socially.

Here's where I/we need your help ASAP:

I currently reside in Fulton County GA and we have a two week plan ready to go to empower women voters to get to the polls and vote in the midterms on November 6 for this very important and historic election.  As in 2016, my first carpool will be to take my daughter, Isabella (13), to vote with me and participate in this right to teach her how voting is the way we raise our voices and empower communities.

All contributions will be used to support the program activities of Women Voters USA and will help us mobilize women voters in Georgia and across the country!!!

We need your support to help fund our app and web-based platforms, decals and Carpool2Vote caps to identify our drivers for safety, social media outreach, and share our message of voting as a civic duty.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and vote!
