Carly’s Journey

Carly’s parents purchased a van that is her only form of transportation and in July paid over $50,000 upfront to a van conversion company. This van was to be converted for all the requirements she must have to get to her doctor appointments, surgeries, ER trips and anywhere away from home safely and equipped with a wheelchair lift, use of and her oxygen machine, suction machine, feeding tube supplies and all things Carly. After weeks of no response from the business owner and help from the community her van was recovered stripped of everything but the two front seats. This van is desperately needed for travel to an upcoming spine and hip surgery several states away. Carly has had a rough journey since having a stroke at two weeks old, three brain surgery’s and spinal fusion surgery in January this year that needs to be redone.
