“Care For Cookson's”

Friends Sarah  and Chris cookson founders of the “Charlie Cookson Foundation “ are suffering so much pain and heartache at the moment as they watch their newborn second son “Carter John “ fight for his life in Newcastle Freeman’s hospital . Carter needs a new heart and time is sadly limited . Since their older son Charlie gained his angel wings they have dedicated their lives to raising much needed funds to help families of children with life limiting conditions have much needed precious time with their children without the financial worries of keeping a roof over their head or just feeding their family . I know too well as many other families do ,  the added pressure of not being able to work and pay the bills and the anxiety it presents when your child is serious ill. Just being  in hospital is financially draining as it can be expensive when u are eating in the cafes on site , coming too and from home to collect essentials and parking fees , the list is endless .  I know that Sarah and Chris would not accept help from the foundation as they are two of the most proud , strong and selfless people I have ever met . I’m setting up this page with the support from their friend Emily and their other friends and family in the hope that you read this and their story on fb and help in any way you can large or small it all helps . Sadly money can’t get Carter a new heart , if I had one wish right now it would be to do this . We can however try to  alleviate some of their stress and anxiety so they can be with Carter every minute . Please help if you can ❤️#CareforCooksons
