Restore priceless arson attack MGB

With everything happening in the world today, we appreciate this might be a big ask, but please give us a moment of your time to help our best friends.
Early morning on Thursday 15th June in Chesterton, Cambridge, wannabe thieves targeted and attempted to steal a priceless and lovingly restored 1964 British Racing Green MG MGB belonging to our close friend Charles (and his wife Elizabeth). They would later go on to burn the car in a callous arson attack.
Having broken into the locked garage, housing Charles' pride and joy, these individuals failed to start the engine and drive away. In anger, the thieves turned arsonists grabbed a can of petrol from the boot and began their mindless attack. The intensity of the flames destroyed most of the classic MG. Elements of the chassis, engine and gearbox may have been saved by the efforts of the Cambridgeshire Fire Service.
Unfortunately this special car cannot be replaced, and its insurable "book value" pales into insignificance compared to its value to Charles and Elizabeth. Affectionately known as "the little green car", the MG was the only thing that Charles had belonging to his late father, who died before Charles could meet him.
Charles and Elizabeth invested countless hours and most of their wedding budget to restore the car from top to bottom, ensuring he could be part of the most important day of their lives (pictured below).
This MGB isn't just a car. It has a special place in the hearts of Charles, Elizabeth, and all of their friends and family.
Any donations offered will be spent on restoration of the unique MG MGB. Offers of restorative services or parts are also greatly received.
