Every child deserves a bed, but sadly, not everyone can afford to buy them for their children. This is why for my Eagle Scout Project, I have teamed up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to change that. My plan is to gather and lead volunteers to build five bunk bed sets for 10 children in need. We will then deliver them to families so their children can sleep in warm beds during this cold season. However, this project will only be possible with your donations to buy the materials and bedding.
Our build date is March 23rd, so I would greatly appreciate any donations by March 15th. On that date, I will in turn, give the money I receive to SHP to order the materials.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
All money will be donated to SHP so they can buy the materials, including wood, screws, mattresses, and bedding. Any extra money will be donated directly to SHP for their own use.
