Black Panther screening for youth

Hey family and friends! I am raising funds to take a group of 45 dedicated Bronx youth to see the new Black Panther movie, come February. 

During the week of Feb. 16 - 23rd, students will be on vacation (mid-winter recess). However, our students come out EACH DAY of vacation to volunteer and serve thru:

- walking dogs from an animal shelter
- serving at a soup kitchen / pantry
- organizing donated foods
- working with children
- making sandwiches for the homeless & giving them out

On Friday, Feb. 23rd we want to celebrate our students by taking them to see the newly anticipated movie, Black Panther. Students who will come out to 4 out of the 5 service projects would be a eligible to attend.  We are looking to raise $315 because each ticket would cost about $7 per student.

The free movie ticket will also serve as a huge incentive to get our youth OUT and do something positive for our community. If we pass the $315 goal, the extra funds will go to buying snacks and food for students during our service projects.
