This year my family is participating in the Acadiana "Do Good" project and we are thrilled! This project gave $100 to 21 people/groups and their only instructions were to "do good!" When I asked my four children what they would like to do with the money, they unanimously voted to help a family in need for Christmas.
Although $100 is a good chunk of change, we would like to raise more money in hopes to help more than one family. Our original plan was to have a hot chocolate stand at the end of our driveway...but as this project progresses, our driveway has turned into Main Street and Elementary Schools!!! Several people from out of town have also shown interest in this cause and want to donate, so this gofundme page is an avenue to do so:)
100% of the money will be used to bring joy to families in need for Christmas. Some of the ideas we have are fulfilling wish lists and delivering a nice Christmas meal.
