Hi, my name is Jordan Elijah Verdin. I live in North County, San Diego.
I am currently serving and building relationships with the Homeless community on a weekly basis; providing them with basic essentials such as hygiene products, blankets, and food. But I have a dream of doing something bigger. You wake up; you take a shower. This routine is something you don’t even think about, it’s so simple, yet so valuable. You have the luxury of having space where you feel safe, with clean hot water not having to worry if you will be assaulted or if your belongings will be stolen. My goal is to provide a space where any human can feel safe, respected, and cared for. The reason why I chose to start this project is that I want to provide every person with dignity, I may not be able to end homelessness but even if just for one person I can make one day a little brighter then every effort would be worth it.
I am raising money for half the cost of the trailer and personally finance the other half. With this trailer, I can serve up to 125 guests a day.
The cost of the 2 Station Shower Trailer Portable Restrooms Combo Comfort Series is $22,000. It's a great temporary solution for locations requiring shower and restroom facilities in one compact environment!
Each unisex shower/restroom suite includes water-saving china flushable toilet, corner sink with metered faucet, and shower stall with metered shower head and curtain, lighting at each entry door and 1-piece non-skid rubber flooring ensures guests can enter/ exit safely and securely no matter what time of day or night. Guest are also sure to enjoy the comfort of a fully climate-controlled environment maintained by air conditioning and heat strips!
