I have a good friend, Brandon Mizar, who has recently had a run of bad luck. Why does some of the shittiest things happen to some of the best people? This I will never understand. Brandon is not only an amazing friend (not just to me, but to everyone), but he is also an awesome photographer, and most of all probably one of the greatest dads ever. He has 3 awesome boys. If you follow him on Facebook, he posts some of the sweetest and even funny stories of his kids. He is one of those completely involved dads, one who would do ANYTHING for his kids.
Recently, Brandon had some of his photography gear stolen. It was a simply mis-hap where one of the boys accidently left the trunk open and welp… there it went. Like any normal person, he contacted his insurance company, only to find out they won’t cover his claim.
While trying to get through that mishap and figure out what to do next, Brandon has gone, and is still going through a legal battle with his ex, and trying to get custody of his kids, only to find out that the lawyer he hired, didn’t do a good job, and due to certain issues that his attorney failed on, cost Brandon some time with his kids. As you know, legal battles cost an arm and leg, and for Brandon it is costing him even more. The roof over his head is jeopardy which consequently means that he may lost what custody he has if he can’t provide a home for his boys. Brandon would do absolutely anything for his kids, including selling off band memorabilia, equipment, anything that he has that holds any kind of value just to be able to make ends meet, keep his home, and see his boys. He is currently doing that now…
Brandon does have his job, but he also has an attorney bill a mile long, 3 growing boys, rent, bills, and an ex who he also has to pay money too.
I know what an awesome guy Brandon is, and so do a lot of people. I know how hard he works, and I know that he would be so thankful for any help he can get.
