Blessing Angela Biersteker In Time Of Need

"Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need."
-1 Timothy 5:3

What a beautiful family dynamic it is, when a father is able to provide for his family and a mother is able to work running a household which honors the Lord.  In the best circumstances, this is the ultimate display of God's glorious provision.  In the worst circumstances, it can be a challenge to overcome.

Jon Eric Biersteker not only provided for his family, he worked tirelessly maintaining their house and fixing what was broken.  He was a man dedicated to the Lord, and a man dedicated to his position as the leader and provider of his home.

Many of you know, the Lord called Jon home on Friday, February 1st, 2019.  And as the gates of heaven opened wide and trumpets sounded and angels sang notes of such glorious beauty we can't even imagine the joy he's  now experiencing, those who remain are left to suffer the pain and piece the puzzle of their lives back together with a very notable link missing.

The emotional side of loss is hard enough to contend with.  But the practical side of loss is often overlooked and unaccounted for.  The fact is, Jon was the provider of the family.  It was his paychecks which paid the mortgage.  It was through his work which provided medical insurance for his wife and children.  It was he who was in the position to earn what his family needed to live comfortably.

As Angela and her children move through the days ahead, relearning how to live, redefining their normal- all the while enduring the sting of grief and loss- I would ask that you consider taking what the Lord our God has commanded in helping a widow to make ends meet.  With so much else on their minds, with the overwhelm of funeral preparations and memorial services, with the heartache and the hurt, blessing this family in a monetary way in their time of true need would be an answered prayer.

Any and all funds raised would be going towards normal, every day life- it would ease the burden and give a deserving family the time and space they need to properly absorb and process their grief before having to figure out a new mode of survival.  Jon leaves behind a devoted wife, Angela, and four beautiful children.  He was loved and adored.  And he will be desperately missed.
