A,N. A. J. Network was set up on 12/31/13 for the specific purpose of helping the people of the Philippines deal with natural disasters, daily living and events to support schools and school children and malnourished childen in conjunction with city goverment and our own events. We also help people one on one on hundreds of occasions.It was also for victims of the earthquake on Bohol and Typhoon Yolanda in 2013 .
Originally it was done from the United States with food purchased, prepared and served by hand picked people here who shared the same philosophies of giving and helping others without any expectation of anything in return as I do.
It also was to teach those philosophies and to widen the circle by doing so.
After many months and a lot of research and as a way to improve my quality of life and to deal more with the diseases and illness I suffer from ( legal blindess, (one step worse, low vision, progressive) heart patient, cracked hip requiring surgery etc.) I moved to the Philippines in May of 2014. It was to be directly involved, as best I can, and widen that circle further.
I also had been through hundreds of medical appts. and doctors from a car accident in 2012 that changed everything in my life in one second and couldn't get things done medically so I decided to live with what I have incuding cancer and not have to deal with all 24/7. With my disability pension I could also afford to live on my own, though with help, where I could not in San Diego.
After a year plus here things are starting to become what I envisioned. Also with help from people in other countries and mostly my own pocket.
A.N.AJ. Network is not a charity nor religious based, an NGO or a foundation nor non profit. It is a NETWORK of like minded people, self funded, that grows organically and who simply like to help others and receive the internal satisfaction that it brings.It is it's own reward.
It is also individuals making a difference as individuals
A.N.A.J. stands for A.rthur, N.icole, A.rthur Jr and J.onathan, my children.
I see Cebu and Lapu2x where I live as , " The Gateway to Destruction" from these events of 2013 and "The Gateway to Renewal for how it is rebuilt and in Tacloban Province. I, and we, are a part of that. It is also my home
I ask for your help to continue the work I truly want to do and help others. Those who want direct proof and photos of the families I will do that. We are not nameless or faceless people. Nor are they.

100% goes to what we do. There is no overhead or salaries. I absorb the costs with some corporate assistance like 7-11 here. We also have Marian Eyas,
PO-1, Lapu Lapu Police Dept. who works with us on our team. Rea w/7-11 and Marites with A Foreign Experience are very valuable members of my team as life long Filipinas
