AMAZING GRACE for AISHAH GOODWIN

On Tuesday, July 10th in Schenectady Ny the most unthinkable tragedy happened to a wonderful mother and her 4 children. An awful act of domestic violence landed 3 innocent people, 2 of which were children in a hospital fighting for their life-physically and mentally. What initially started as verbal abuse, which was lead to physical abuse, quickly turned into a tragic nightmare as a gun was turned on to a mother and her beautiful children as they were trying to flee their home for the sake of their lives. The mother and her 16yr old daughter sustained a gunshot wound that will leave them reminded of this horrific day by just a simple glance in the mirror. Her 7yr old son was critically injured as he suffers from two gunshot wounds which has lead him unwillingly on a long road to recovery in hopes he can someday continue his normal everyday childhood life. During the midst of this violent attack her 1 and a half year old toddler wandered the home in panic and confusion as all he knew was something was just not right. Her 12 yr old son who was not home at the time, was left mentally scarred with “what if’s” and the thought of if he was ever going to be reunited with his mommy and his siblings again. Due to her daughters massive amount of bravery and quick thinking, here it is one week later and this family is still fighting, but by the grace of God not for their life but for even the smallest sense of normalcy. This courageous family is in need of a whole new fresh start including a home, furniture, food, school clothes/sneakers, school supplies, childcare expenses, medical/dental/psychiatric funding and funds to pay already established bills that will soon start racking up as she will be out of work until her and her children can physically and mentally heal and even find the courage to face society again. Every little bit will make a huge difference and be very much appreciated !! So please help this family overcome the struggles of picking up the pieces to regain enough stability to never have to suffer again!! Thank you so much in advance!!
