Veterinary Textbooks for Nepal Zoo Vets
Tax deductible
Central Zoo is the only zoo located in Nepal staffed with passionate veterinarians striving towards excellence in animal welfare.
The students from the class of 2016 at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine would like to assist the Nepal vets by sending them a few veterinary reference books:
1. Kreeger and Arnemo’s Handbook of Wildlife Chemical
Immobilization, 3rd edition
2. Fowler Zoo and Wildlife Medicine series, editions 2-7
3. Fowler and Mikota’s Biology, Medicine, and Surgery of
Elephants
We estimate that through online sourcing, we will be able to purchase the textbooks for $800-$1000, and shipping from WA to Nepal will cost approximately $100.
Any additional proceeds will go towards the SeaDoc Society of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine's Wildlife Health Center to support their efforts in marine mammal conservation in the Salish Sea.
Thank you for your consideration,

*UPDATE (07/15) Four companies donated four of the textbooks, and we fundraised enough to purchase the remaining texts. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE. I cannot express my gratitude enough for your generosity xoxoxoxo
