Alice’s Leukaemia Journey

I’d like you all to meet little Alice Hudson, Alice is just 2years old. On Wednesday the 7th of November 2018 she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Alice’s mum Sherrie took her to hospital after not being able to get her temperature down, and after lots of tests was given the devastating news no parent wants to hear.
Alice and her Mum Sherrie and Dad Ash are currently living at Addenbrookes hospital whilst Alice has her first round of chemotherapy.
Due to the risk of infection sadly they have had to leave their 1year old son Michael with family and we’re told that they wouldn’t be able to see him for 5 weeks. As you can imagine this is an extra heart break for the family but they have to do this in the best interests of Alice.
The family need your help.
As you can imagine the stay at Addenbrookes Hospital is already taking its toll on the families finances. I’d like to help them be able to support Alice with all the things she needs, may that be special clothing to fit around her tubes, nappies and fresh fruit which she loves so much or even toys to keep her busy when she’s feeling up to it. I’d also like to help raise some money so that Sherrie and Ash can support themselves whilst looking after Alice.
The family have been told that where they live currently is not suitable for Alice to return to, and their family are helping to organise more suitable accommodation for Alice’s needs when she can return home. The flat that they live in is on the 3rd floor and has mould which would be detrimental to Alice’s health. To take the stress of moving away from the family I’m hoping to raise money to get them moved and buy the equipment that Alice will need. This will include flooring in the new property.
