Local Business Owner And Family Vandlized

Donation protected
Hana's PDX has served the city of Portland for three years, catering community events, school events, and giving back to local nonprofit agencies. The food cart, owned by entrepreneur Alan Bell, is more than a means of good citizenship for Bell, it is also a means of income for his family. In the twilight hours of February 5th, the locked box holding the cart's power generator and propane tanks was burglarized, the lines irreparably severed, and the tank and generator stolen. The serving window was broken and the machine used to make snowballs was taken. Many students in high schools with high percentages of free/reduced lunch will be looking forward to Bell's treats - which he steeply discounts and frequently hosts giveaways for attendance and punctuality - on Wednesday at lunch. Due to this crime, not only is Bell immobilized from sparking joy for kids, he is also immobilized from making money to support his family. (Hana's is an acronym containing the first letter of each of his childrens' names.) Your donations for the repair of damaged lines, rebuild of a galvanized lock box, replace the snowball machine, replacement of a generator, and replacement of a propane tank will restore this man's ability to feed his family as he feeds others his deliciously icy New Orleans treats!
