Jason and Michelle Aguilar have desired to have a child of their own for over 10 years. They embarked on the journey of adopting several years ago, and have been waiting patiently for a baby. This week they received devastating news, as their adoption agency immediately shutdown and filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. At this point, they do not have access to their adoption file and have lost all their invested time and money. This setback is truly heartbreaking in so many ways. We are covering Jay and Michelle in prayers, as they seek God's guidance and open doors. In addition to the emotional struggle, adopting is very expensive, and the Aguilars have exhausted their savings, and the money given to the adoption agency is not recoverable. Jay and Michelle need to hire a new adoption agency, which will require further financial commitment. Our family is setting up a GoFundMe campaign to help with the financial setback from this situation, and provide a path forward. We are doing this for Jay and Michelle because we really want to help in some way. We trust in God to provide for all their needs, and believe with all our hearts that Jay and Michelle will be parents of a beautiful baby in the near future. Both Jay and Michelle’s parents are eager to have grandchildren, and are equally devastated (as is our entire family) while remaining hopeful for their future grandchild.
