Afize for King of Africa

Donation protected
Dear supporters,

My name is Afize ‘Stylish’ Mohamed and I am a UK based fitness and fashion model.

I will be competing for the “King of Africa” title in the “Mister Africa International”2017 pageant, held on Saturday and Sunday the 3rd and 4th of December, in Lagos, Nigeria. To achieve my ambition, I am asking you to support me on my journey and help me to represent Sierra Leone the way it deserves. My goal is to shine a positive light on our people!

Your donations will go towards my travel expenses, accommodation and custom wardrobe designed by our own designers. This will allow talented Sierra Leonean designers to promote themselves internationally through showcasing national costume, competitions suit and swim wear designs.

After moving to London in 2012, I decided to make a career U-turn embarking on a nursing degree. My first exposure to professional modelling came in 2015 when I participated in the now well recognised Salone Flag photoshoot.

I became a Spreetour model in the same year. From there, I represented brands like KRISP, Moss Bros and Whipped Inc. along with other labels. I also became a highly sought after model in the music industry, being cast by artists such as Della, Cece and Sativa Peach. Apart from modelling for others, I am the ambassador and face of my own brand United Africa. Please visit my website for more info http://www.afizestylish.com/

On Saturday 18th February 2017, MMSL organised the very first Mister and Miss Sierra Leone Pageant and I was crowned 1st Prince. Today I am well known in our community and proudly wear the title 1st runner up - Mister Sierra Leone UK 2017. Sierra Leone also won the very first Mister Africa Pageant in 2012 and with your help and support we will do it again.

As a team, we are planning to win. We want to help those who have lost their families, homes and belongings in the Freetown mudslides. If I become your King of Africa I will donate part of the prize to those in need. It would be a great privilege to give back to our community.

I will depart from London on 28th November to spend one week in Nigeria in preparation for the grand show on 2nd and 3rd of December. These preparations include photoshoots, interviews, cloth fittings and other activities planned by the organisers. Until then any donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for believing in me.
