Adopting Baby Briscoe

For several years, adoption has been in our conversation.  After much prayer and discussion between myself and David and our boys we have decided to begin this long and emotional adoption journey.
We understand that this potential child will never replace Christopher, just as subsequent children never replace a first-born in any family. After all, a family does not continue to have children because their first child wasn't enough. Instead families continue to have children because they have a desire and a love to offer that child.


As David and I have recognized that we both continue to have love to give we hope that our friends and family will support our journey, pray for our family, and pray for the potential child & birth mother that may enter our lives. Specifically, I ask that you pray for our hearts. Pray that we are able to withstand this journey, are given patience as we wait, and understanding if we are not placed.


We have an uphill journey as we begin this. Adoption is not only a long process but is also a major financial responsibility. As we begin saving, working side jobs, and fundraising for adoption, I ask that you pray for this aspect our journey, as well.
