I attempted to walk across the country in the hopes to move America. I started my walk in Delaware and made it to Ohio. I was very surprised by the amount of people not willing to help me on my route and because of the lack of help I was forced to stop my walk BUT ...... I'm inspired and motived more then ever! I will being back out as soon as I get all the proper resources together. In the mean time I will be provinding Fitness Classes by donations. I also will be traveling the world getting the resources and the help I need to make this all possible
I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL EVERYONE IS HEALTHY & most of all ----} HAPPY
(By spreading love, answers and resources )
My original mission:
Iam a certified personal trainer from Brooklyn, NY with a voracious appetite for learning, sharing and growing. My mission is to get the world healthy and fit by providing individuals with the tools, information and motivation necessary to make educated and healthy choices within their own lives.
What makes me relatable is that I've been there-- facing that seemingly insurmountable hurdle of losing weight. I just completed the tv series "Fit To Fat To Fit," where I gained 69 lbs only to then turn around and lose it with my overweight client. This was a sacrificial undertaking since I had just overcome my own weight loss journey only 5 years prior -- I was unhealthy, struggling with depression but succeeded in going from 310lbs to 193lbs. "Fit To Fat To Fit" allowed me to gain empathy for someone else's weight loss journey and motivated me to continue helping others in their journeys for greater health!
With 1 out 3 Americans overweight, I've decided to step up to the plate and answer the Surgeon General's call to action to get Americans moving and engaging in "Active Living." Through this walk across America, I plan to bring people of all ages together just by walking.
Step it Up! The Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Promote Walking and Walkable Communities calls on us to increase walking by working together to increase access to safe and convenient places to walk and wheelchair roll, and create a culture that supports walking for Americans of all ages and abilities. We all have a role to play in making walking easier. Read the Call to Action and find out how everyone can help make our communities more walkable.
I will walk 2,797 miles in 210 days and I need your support! I need your financial support to help me raise $25,000 to cover expenses including documenting the journey and hosting walking events and workouts in various cities along the way. I also need your spiritual and physical support to walk with me as I come through your town. Who's walking with me as I walk across America? Let me know....#AdonisMovesAmerica #StepItUp #WeAreALLinThis2gether
#MissionaryWork I'm so excited Family! Today is the day I leave out with #TENTMinistries, a faith-based, not-for-profit ministry based in Brooklyn, and joining them on their mission’s trip to #Mexico to bring the love and hope of God to the children and youth in two orphanages in the cities of Tijuana and Rosarito Hacienda Victoria, Rosarito, Mexico City of Refuge (swipe to see more & click link in bio)
Our vision is to serve God through serving the needy children of Mexico – children who come to us from broken homes or from no home at all, who have learned to make a life for themselves on the streets. Through City of Refuge children’s home we are able to provide a loving family environment for children who have seen and experienced abuse, neglect and extreme poverty. Our family currently consists of about 100 children and 20 “parents,” otherwise known as staff members, who work together to meet not only the physical needs of the children, but their emotional and spiritual needs as well.
Our organization exists solely for the children that we have been given into our care. We accept children from the DIF (the Mexican child protective service) and also children who are voluntarily given into our care by their parent. Thus, some of our children are “orphans”- children whose parents are no longer living- while other children in our home may have a living family but their situation at home was one of extreme poverty, abuse, or neglect.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Adonis, I think it is amazing what you have done and what you are planning to do. I wish I had someone here in my town that could provide me with the help and support as you have done. I have struggled most of my adult life with weight. You are such an inspiration! I would love to do a walk such as yours. When you set out...maybe part of your trip will bring you through Kalamazoo Michigan...maybe I can walk a few miles with you!
LET THERE BE MIRCLES
