A New Car for Teddy Patrick

Teddy Patrick is known all around Vancouver as our beloved singing Costco clerk. Everyone who comes into contact with Teddy feels his positivity; he is a ray of sunshine. Most people know him for his beautiful voice - many local Costco shoppers come just to hear his melodies and kind words.
On a Facebook page celebrating Teddy, many people have expressed kind words...

According to a 2013 Columbian article, he faced homelessness in 2002 and was able to get on at Costco in Portland. Teddy came to our Vancouver Costco in 2005. In 2013, he had brain surgery. It has not been an easy journey for Teddy, but he has never let that on to anyone who comes across him at Costco. He shares with others nothing but sunshine.
Last night, someone stole Teddy's 1994 Honda Accord from the Andresen Costco parking lot. Of all the people to steal from right before Christmas, they picked the man who gives so much to others.
We've received word that his vehicle was recovered, but that doesn't change our goal. Teddy has given so much joy to us all that we want to give him a new car. 100% of funds raised will be going to Teddy Patrick, earmarked towards the purchase of a new vehicle of his choosing.
Vancouver community -- let's come together and get Teddy a new car. He deserves it. It's time to give back to the man who has inspired so many and brightened so many days for us all.

Who am I and where am I from? How do I know Teddy?
My name is Stacey Browning -- I'm a Costco shopper and a Clark County dweller- just one of the many people Teddy has touched with his kindness and his joyful spirit. I came to start this campaign after reading the Clark County Sheriff's Office's Facebook post about the theft, and knowing immediately that Teddy deserved better.
How will these funds be spent?
Though Teddy's stolen car was recovered, some of his personal items were stolen, and our goal remains the same. I want to show Teddy the GOODNESS of our community, how much love we have for him, and how much we appreciate him. These funds are being collected in order to be given to Teddy towards the car of his choosing. Some community members have reached out and suggested working out a deal with a local dealership on his behalf -- if we can raise enough funds to do so, I will be exploring that option. Wouldn't it be amazing to get Teddy a brand new ride with a security system and some brand new golf clubs to replace the stolen ones? Let's make it happen!
How will we get the funds to Teddy?
The intent is for the funds to be directly withdrawn by Teddy, as 100% of what is collected (minus GoFundMe's fees) is for him. We have reached out to him directly to begin gathering the information needed to get this in his hands. Funds will not be withdrawn until arrangements have been made directly with or by Teddy Patrick for their use.
