Hello everyone, my name is Scassi and my son’s name is TreZelle.
Thank you everyone for giving some of your time to hear our story. This took a lot of courage, but I’m so happy to be doing it.
Three years ago I moved out to LA with my son and my now ex-partner. The relationship ended and left my son and I with nothing but a car and a little bit of money. Since then, two years ago, we have been in shelters and eventually ended up, for the past year, living in our car. I know it sounds scary, and it was, but I always felt like things would change, one day very soon.
My son was, and has been, going to school full time while I was working, which is still the current situation--which is such a huge blessing.
So we have finally found a place, in a great location, and we love it! We’re seeking help with the deposit and first month’s rent. The amount we need is $3,000.00, which is really hard to gather alone right now and in such a short time period. Your donation will give us the cushion we need to maintain our stability, since I am working full-time. This will definitely help kick-start our new journey--a new beginning for my Prince and I.
