Vespa Queens introduces Café Racer!

Vespa Queens, the preeminent scooter dealership in Astoria, NY, has set its’ sights on opening Café Racer, an Italian-inspired sweet spot within the confines of its’ building on Crescent Street. (www.vespaqueens.com)
In order to jump start the construction process for the café, Vespa Queens is using “Go Fund Me”, with the hope of raising the construction budget of $35,000. Those contributing to the building fund will receive vouchers to use towards bike service or at the cafe!
Our plan is that Café Racer will be a place for locals and visiting clients to sip on espresso and savor a delicious bite. We will be offering varieties of Italian-inspired coffee drinks, panini sandwiches, sweets and an organic juice bar. This type of culinary haven does not exist currently exist in this neighborhood. We want to be the first in LIC/Astoria!

Vespa Queens is a scooter dealership, owned by young entrepreneurs with a lot of heart for Long Island City and Astoria, NY. The dealership specializes in top quality service for all types of motorbikes and Vespa scooters from vintage to the latest models. Vespas were first manufactured in 1946 in Italy as a single model. Today, Vespa Queens offers a full line of models and sizes. Vespa scooters are known for their design and style as an easy way to travel in City environments. From the beginning, Vespas were designed with a painted, pressed steel unibody, combining a complete cowling around the engine (enclosing the mechanism and covering dirt and grease), a floorboard (for foot protection), and a front fairing (for wind deflection) into a single piece structural unit. These features make a Vespa unmistakably recognizable on the streets of New York City, getting around town in the spirit of their name, which means “wasp” in Italian.
