U'Ren Family Support Cottage Grove

Kids’ Safari and the Cottage Grove Community is deeply saddened to share that Kirk and Jenni U’ren, were in a tragic accident on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
Kirk died at the scene and Jennifer remains in critical condition. Kirk and Jenni’s twin toddler boys were safely at home with their grandmother and are safe in the care of family members.
As Jennifer fights for her life in a nearby hospital and preparations for Kirk U’Ren’s funeral are made, their twins, Kayden and Grayson, are continuing to attend school at KSLC, tuition free.
Jenni and Kirk were hands on parents ,always attentive and caring. They made it a purpose to participate in their children's school activities and support center events. The were exemplary parents and kind to all teachers, staff and others in our small community.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to their family.
