August 27th, 2016, The Steampunk Farmers Market returns to New Freedom, Pennsylvania for its second year!
The Steampunk Farmers Market is run in association with the New Freedom Farmer' market, The New Freedom Recreation Council and Darcarin Studios. We aim to bring a free day of whimsical and anachronistic entertainment to the local community, both Steampunk and non-Steampunk alike.
The Steampunk Farmers Market is not just a farmers market in name! SPFM is built around the weekly New Freedom Farmers Market for an expanded day of fun with an assortment of steampunk vendors, music, a train ride with Steam into History, and other entertainment alongside the weekly vendors that can be found every Saturday at the usual farmers market.
As a community run and funded, free to the public, non-profit event we are dependent on donations from businesses and private individuals to function. This year we are opening up to the local community and the Steampunk community at large to give everyone the option to contribute towards a bigger and better SPFM2016 with a variety of reward options.
Every donation we receive will be put into paying our performers, towards the production of t-shirts and other event exclusives, into the production of advertisement materials and signage, the shipping of non-attendee t-shirts/pins, and any other unexpected or last minute costs included in running an event. Any amount that is not used this year, will simply roll forward to the 2017 SPFM.
Rewards:
T-shirt orders will cut off at August 1st to ensure we have plenty of time to order the shirts and have them delivered and organized before the event. Pin orders can run up to the time of the event as they are made locally. Remember to tell us your shirt size in the comments! Adult small through 5x.
Final product colors may vary depending on the results of the test print. T-shirt base color is planned to be black but may change if the art does not print well on that color.
Please be sure that we have your name, e-mail address, and mailing address for T-shirt and Pin orders. Anyone who attends the 2016 SPFM can pick up their items at the show. All others will ship out after the event.
Please note in the comments if you plan on attending or not attending, to help us plan and organize for the show.
For pin and t-shirt orders please bring a printout of your donation confirmation or receipt if you intend to pick up at the show.

Become a Steampunk Farmers Market Farmhand! Pick your title and be listed on the Farmhands page of the Steampunk Farmers Market blog. Be sure to tell us what name you want to be listed as if it is different than your legal name as posted with your donation.
Custom Title :
Do not feel that any of our titles fit you, and want to have your own position among the Farmhands? Make up your own! Also be sure to let us know what name you want associated with your title, if it is different than your legal name as posted with your donation. All custom titles are considered of equal rank, placed between Cog Harvester and BattlePig Rider. Please no obscene titles.
Limited Titles:
Tractor Captain (1x), Apiary Engineer( 1x), BattlePig Rider (10x)
These titles are of limited quantity, so claim them while they remain! Become our honorary Tractor Captain and rule the Market or the Apiary Engineer and serve as Second in Command to the Captain for the year and claim bragging rights! If middle management on pig-back is more your style, pluck up the title of Battle Pig Rider before they are gone. Be sure to tell us what name you want to be listed as if it is different than your legal name.
Advertisement/Sponsorship Options
Advertisement 1 - $10
If you have a small Steampunk business but are not planning on vending with the Steampunk Farmers Market this year, for $10 we will list you as a Sponsor on the blog, and run a personalized advertisement for you on the blog and Facebook page. This ad will consist of one to four photographs related to your business of your choosing, a business description written by you, and any contact information, websites, or social media links you wish to include. Please provide your E-mail and we will contact you with confirmation of your advertisement purchase and prompt you for the information above.
Advertisement 2 - $50
You will receive all of the above, plus inclusion on the large hanging Sponsor banner at the event, and if you wish you may mail us any business cards or flyers you have for your buisness and we will display them at the regular weekly New Freedom Farmers Market for several weeks.
Sponsor advertisements for vendors attending our event take precedence over ads for sponsors not attending our event. If we become booked full for non-attending sponsor advertisements before the event, we will just keep running them after the event until we have covered everyone.
