Rose of Charity Orphanage
My mom and I sponsor three Rose of Charity girls to send them to school, and raise funds to help with the daily expenses of feeding, clothing and caring for 70 children. They recently took in a new orphan, Lamisha, who was found in a trash dumpster at 5 weeks old. Isn't she cute?!? This poor baby now has a home and a family.
Any help you could give to assist with the house, daily operating expenses or the new baby is greatly apprciated! You can also sponsor one (or more) of the children for school. It costs money in Zimbabwe to attend school, $120 a year for Primary and $240 a year for Secondary. Please consider either helping with the house, feeding the children, or sending a child to school. Every little bit helps, and it is very easy to do! Just click the donate button and I will get your donation to Sima in Africa.
I know you work hard for your money and want to make sure it gets to the children. All of your generous donations, minus the fees from GoFundMe, will be transfered from GoFundMe to my bank, then directly to the Rose of Charity's account. Or if you prefer Paypal, go to their website to donate that way. You can also contact Sima at the Rose of Charity directly through their website for more information on how to support these beautiful children.
Donations through that link are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you, and just for reading this all the way to the end, you get a totally useless but very interesting bit of information: In order to make one complete rotation in 24 hours, we spin through space at approximately 1,000 miles per hour (1,600 kilometers per hour).
With the holidays almost here, we are starting to think about what to give our loved ones. A new shirt? A silly toy? Another book to add to the growing pile of ones not read yet? How about instead make a gift to the Rose of Charity? They have a new project they are looking to fund. Buying water one of their biggest expenses as they don't have a well at the new house they are now living in. Water is trucked to their home, which is quite expensive. Putting a borehole in for a well will help them expand their garden to grow produce they can sell to local restaurants, generating income. Helping them put in a well is a gift that will keep on giving. Oh, and as an added bonus, you can now deduct that donation as the World Ventures Foundation has created a web site that will direct funds through them. As they are a non-profit with 501(c)3 status, your donation through their website is completely tax-deductible. This holiday season we are all thankful for your support. Your generosity helps the Rose of Charity make the lives of the orphans and vulnerable children of Victoria Falls better.
-United Nations Resolution 66/170

The United Nations has has a mission “to help galvanize worldwide enthusiasm for goals to better girls’ lives, providing an opportunity for them to show leadership and reach their full potential.”
Help me celebrate and empower the girls of Victoria Falls as they face many challenges there. The Rose of Charity Orphanage is working hard to make the lives of these girls better through education, both by supporting them in school and holding workshops to give girls the tools they need to be successful.
