Rob's Legacy:Robotics Memorial Award

Donation protected
Robert Kaz (or as some knew him Rob, Robbie, Shadow, Shadow_yume) was a kind and intelligent person with a passion for cars, programming, robotics and 3D modelling.
He was also a big softie who had a quirky sense of humour, a strong bond with his mum Wendy and a shared love of cars and collectables that strengthened his relationship with his dad Peter.

He was an integral part of his school robotics team at St. Francis Xavier College (SFX) and travelled to both domestic and overseas competitions.

Rob's tragic death has left his local and online communities shocked and saddened.
I know that it would bring his parents great comfort to see these communities come together to establish a perpetual award in his name and to directly support something that he was passionate about.

The money raised will be provided to the SFX robotics program to assist with attendance at competitions and the continuation of the robotics program.  The trophy will be awarded yearly to a student who shows the same passion, dedication and peer support in the IT fields that Rob did.

With his parents’ permission and support from SFX we would like to ask that donations are made to this cause in lieu of flowers or a charity.
Messages of support are also greatly welcomed.

We also appreciate you sharing this page via email and or social media and encourage all who are affected by this to seek help and support where needed in this difficult time.  https://www.gofundme.com/RobertKazRobotics

I have included some links for support (within Australia) and want to thank you for your time in visiting this page and for your generous donations no matter how big or small.

Much Love,
Cass

About me: I am Rob's Cousin (his favourite one ;)
My husband Nathanael and I spent a lot of time with Rob in the past 10 years and some of my fondest memories include travelling to the theme parks in QLD for a week, going to the snow together and schnitzels at the club on Friday nights.   Pizza, Dirty bird and fizzy red cordial in red plastic cups and seeing him with his dogs Buddy and Skye.   We were very lucky to be 'old enough to be looked up to but young enough to still be cool' (aka NOT crony's)
