Puerto Rico Rising

My name is Gabriel Rivero, and I am from Puerto Rico. Some friends and I who are all from Puerto Rico started this GoFundMe to raise money and purchase much needed supplies to help our families and friends still struggling in Puerto Rico because they can't get all that they need on their own. Between us, the organizers of this effort have parents, siblings, cousins, friends, and more family that we are trying to send much needed supplies to. I, Gabriel Rivero, am managing the account, and the money will be withdrawn to a Chase bank account I set up specifically for this fund raiser. The money will go to buying and shipping the supplies we have listed underneath in bulk, as well as a few other items of special need and request such as pampers, baby supplies, and a few other things. This is a hurricane relief effort by locals for locals, and our goal is to help Puerto Rico Rise-Up stronger than before. Due to the large number of people reaching out to help in any way, we are starting the Puerto Rico Rising fund to help those of you who wish to donate personally to a loved one we know, so that your donation can be more personal and have a recognizable face attached to the donation. 100% of the money will go from you the donor directly to helping family, friends, and neighbors desperately in need of assistance following the catastrophic hurricanes, Maria and Irma, that ravaged Puerto Rico and the Caribbean in recent days. As displaced locals trying everything we can to help our loved ones receive essentials of everyday life, this cause is near and dear to us. After hearing from our loved ones, we plan on purchasing the following supplies amongst others with the first round of funds raised:

Solar Powered Cellphone/Tablet chargers
Solar Powered Lanterns
Batteries (AA & D)
Hand Sanitizer
Baby Wipes
Cleaning Supplies
Single Burner Gas Stoves
