Pajama Project Fabric/Supplies Fund

Tax deductible

We SO appreciate your donation. All of your funds go to producing soft, warm pajamas and PJ pants that bring comfort to those in our community who are in need of some extra love and caring.

The Pajama Project began in 1996 in an effort to provide warm, cozy pajamas to those in need in our community. Over the years  Pajama Project volunteers have distributed thousands of "Hand Made with Love" pajamas to young children, homeless teens and adults in domestic abuse and recovery programs.

The Pajama Project is entirely funded by private donations and there are no paid employees. Donations are tax deductible through the administration of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Encinitas where the program originated. Funds are collected through Bethlehem and are held separate for the purpose of the Pajama Project exclusively and go towards flannel and other materials to create the pajamas.

The efforts of the Pajama Project stretch far beyond just pajamas. The 4 inch or larger fabric scraps left over from cutting out pajamas go to the church's quilting group,  "Scraps and Prayers" to create hundreds of child and full size quilts that are distributed to those in need. The very smallest scraps go to a local humane society to serve as stuffing in dog beds.
