My Story
I was born in St. Vincent de Paul Orphanage in Chicago. I was fortunate to be adopted as an infant by a beautiful and loving family. My husband Joe Croyle and I have been married for 32 years. We were not able to have children. My heart and soul feels called to join other women without children on this journey to Peru to spend a week with the children at Niños del Sol, a group home for orphaned and abandoned children in the Sacred Valley of Peru, http://www.ninosdelsol.org/.

This is the second trip to Niños del Sol organized by my
friend Dr. Marcy Cole under the umbrella of her non-profit, CMomA , embracing children in need that shines a light on women without children. To learn more about CMomA http://www.cmoma.org/ .
My Creative Photographic Purpose Driven Goal
"Through the Eyes of a Child"
The Project Goal:
*Collaboration with photographer, Shanda Venneau in "Through the Eyes of a Child" project.
*Put a camera in the hands of orphaned and disadvantaged children around the globe to photograph their world so we can see through their eyes.
*Have a bonding experience in humanity and having a mentorship with children who don’t have parents.
*Long term goal...create an exhibit of photographs and a photo/essay book by orphaned children to see through their eyes, their world, their hopes, their dreams and their longings.
*We will leave a few cameras with the orphanage for the children to share and take some cameras on to the next orphanage with letters from children of Ninos del Sol about their experience to inspire the next group of children who use them.
Cameras needed:
We are looking for small "point and shoot" digital cameras to bring to the kids to use for the project we are creating. Most people are getting rid of their cameras and using their phone cameras. Please let me know if you would like to donate any digital cameras you may have. Thanks!!

Financial contribution needed for:
*Investment to CMomA non-Profit, the cost not including airfare) will be: $2597.00. This cost includes accommodations, most meals, touring logistics and entrance fees, CMomA program fee, and $500 collective donation to Niños del Sol.
*I'm grateful to my friend Maggie Cooke for giving me a $700 voucher to United Airlines. So now all the rest of the money raised above the fee going to CMomA will go to Niños del Sol Orphanage!
