Hello my name is Jessica Rodriguez.
I'm currently a full time unversity student at California State University, Los Angeles.
My major is in Communication Disorders, and my minor is in Rehabilitation Services.
Helping others has always been a passion for me. Especially when it comes to helping children.
The purpose of this account is to gather funds to assist a children's orhpanage in India. In the month of June I will be leaving Los Angeles and traveling to India. India is the second country with the world's highest population and highest poverty levels. With a great amount of people in the country there also comes a great amount of children living in orphanages.
God has put this trip in my path for a reason. As I prayed about my trip and seeked guidance, I know that my purpose in life is to help those who are in need. Of course, these children need love and care. By going, I will show them that they are not alone and that there is people in this world who care for them.
Anything you can donate, whether it is a dollar or five. Give from your heart and God will multiple your offering and bless you. Not only are you doing a charitable act, but you are helping the lives of these beautiful children. Some of the needed materials include shoes, toiletries, blankets, clothes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, pretty much necessities for daily living.
Thank you for your understanding and support. I will be posting pictures of the children with the material bought, upon returning from my trip.
