Hello, 

My name is Michael W Smith a 14 year veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. I am looking to run a Democratic Congressional Campaign for the first district of Idaho 2018.

Money raised in this donation campaign will go directly to the costs of the campaign. setting up a website, filing with the FEC, creating campaign awareness, and setting up in person events to answer questions, discuss issues, and allow for conversation dialogue to open.

The sooner we reach our goal, the better. We are running in a historically red state and the more we get out there and meet with people the better our chances are.

Supporting this campaign will bring the balance of our government back, as it stands now all aspects of our government are controlled by Republican interests, this is a dangerous situation that has not happened since the Great Depression!

I look forward to serving the people as competently, honorably, and morally as possible and I would be very grateful for the chance to serve the people!
