Justice San Jose
on behalf of Harmeet Dhillon

We (Rachel Casey and Juan Hernandez) started this GoFundMe campaign to help pay the legal costs for the victims of assault and free speech violations at a Trump rally that took place in San Jose, Calif. on June 2, 2016. Several thousand Trump supporters attended a rally that day, and were assaulted by an organized mob of thugs — a mob the local authorities directed them to walk through in order to leave the event and reach their transportation. Authorities stood by and watched while citizens were assaulted before their eyes. We were part of the group of supporters violently attacked at the event.

Victims range from a 14-year-old assaulted by two individuals and denied assistance by the San Jose Fire Department, to a 71-year-old woman who said her glasses were ripped off and destroyed by three rioters in view of police who told her they were not allowed to make arrests.

So far, 14 individual rally attendees assaulted at the event have banded together to sue the Mayor and Police Chief of San Jose, the City of San Jose, and several individual rioters; we and the other plaintiffs are also class representatives for a class of all rally attendees whose civil rights were violated by the actions of the local authorities. While both the individual rioters who are criminal defendants, and the San Jose city authorities, all have access to taxpayer-funded attorneys, we must fund the civil lawsuit ourselves, on behalf of everyone whose rights were affected that day.

If you believe that everyone has equal protection under the First Amendment and believe that the law enforcement should have protected the constitutional rights of the rally attendees from the mob that assembled to assault them, please donate to our legal fund. All funds raised in this campaign will go to defray the legal costs of the rally attendees; none of these funds will go to the plaintiffs themselves.

Thank you!

I just finished listening to this story on "Red Pilled America". We need to be civil in our discussion. This act was uncivil and a very poor example of how to handle a difference of ideas. I am unhappy for the pain these people have experienced. Thank you for doing the right thing. Sincerely, Jeff

The SJPD is a corrupt libtard shithole -- like the rest of California. I hope SJ goes bankrupt paying off all the lawsuits.

I donated because we have a two-tier justice system and if the police and fire department are told to stand down, we are having a SERIOUS problem in this country. These thugs were hired by the left and the real story is not going to be told by the media.

Government complicity in thuggery must be exposed, punished and prevented or left wing city leaders will be emboldened to further diminish our rights and freedom.
